MyVeri5 (Beta POC)

MyVeri5 allows users to verify forwarded messages circulated in social media.

This application aimed at solving a problem in verifying whether forwarded messages received in any social applications especially through mobile phone is genuine or fake. There is no platform or mechanisms exist for user to verify such message. Some of the messages are very important and might need to be forwarded to our family and friends to alert them. However if such messages are fake the impact might go beyond imagination. Messages related to safety, political, religion, or disaster issues if falsely disseminated through forwarded messages might

cause social and economy instability in our country. This application provides a platform for users to verify any forwarded messages they received in social apps before forwarding the forwarded messages to friends. Authorized verifiers will receive notification from the system to verify the forwarded messages. List of verifiers will grow accordingly based on the needs and patterns of the forwarded messages received by the system. Other users requesting verification of similar messages that have been verified earlier will get a prompt response by the system. Eventually all fake messages especially the old one which have been circulated in our network from time to time will become irrelevant thanks to society who forwarded the messages for verification and allows them to be shared with others using the system.
