Nexus Battery Drain Project

This experimental project for Nexus devices will try to find the battery drain

NBD stands for Nexus Battery Drain (Project!)

What this is: Exactly what it sounds like, an experimental project that essentially tries to identify possible rogue and battery draining apps based on crowdsourced data. Localized only to the Nexus 6P, and 5X, that are experiencing the classic, Nougat battery drain issue.

How it works: The app gathers a list of the your installed apps and sends them to a server (with your permission, and anonymized with a random ID of course) which stores the lists and does a few calculations to identify which apps are most commonly installed on the devices with the less-than-ideal battery life (identified via user choice) and return the data gathered so far to the you, the user.

Please only participate in the experiment if you meet all of the following:

- Your device's battery seems to drain at an abnormally high rate, or faster than when on Marshmallow.

- Your device completely drains to 0%, and never has shut off at a percentage higher than such. This is most likely a hardware issue, and falsely reporting may skew results.

- Your device is on Nougat.

- And of course, your device is a Nexus 6P, or 5X.

I realize there could be a huge margin for error, as some apps, like say a popular game, or for example the Amazon app, could be installed on a large portion of devices and be misidentified as a possible battery draining app, but I just thought it would be interesting to see the results. And so here we are with this app. Take the results with a grain of salt.
