Download the North Townlands Heritage Trail and discover a place that for over 150 years was one of the best racecourses in Ireland, with a reputation as the centre of Irish horse racing.

This app offers you a free self-guided visitor experience, starting at the racecourse, revealing its history and giving you a flavour of what a race day would have been like when the course was at its peak. You’ll finish at the Amelia Earhart Centre, hear how she set one of the most important records in aviation history and learn if her connection to this special place.

The trail lasts approximately 1 hour, covering 5km and has 11 stops along the way.
