Kiosk application for presentation of products in Optimedia System

OptiMedia Presenter for Android is a part of Optimedia - multimedia product comparison system.

The owner of an account in OptiMedia system can log in into this application and choose product, which he wants to connect with the given Android device. From that moment, the device becomes a presenter for this product and any other interaction with the device becomes impossible without the password used during login phase.

The application is designed for retailers of devices using Android OS to advertise their products in an innovative and attractive ways. It allows to monitor the retailer's customers interest in products defined in the system by collecting and aggregating the data from user's interaction with each instance of this application.

It is made out of two views - the main image displayed when the product is in idle state and a table of its' parameters that is shown when the product is picked up. The application requires that the device it is installed on has an onboard accelerometer.

The content synchronizes itself periodically with data saved on OptiMedia Admin Website.

WARNING! The application requires access to an active account in OptiMedia system. Installation of the application on the device, accepting the permissions and logging in into the system switches on the kiosk mode - from that point ownards it is impossible to access most of the device functions without providing the password or deleting the application through factory reset. Optiguard company does not take resposibilitiy for any possible loss of data saved on the device.

PRIVACY: This app accesses the user's list of currently active applications to help protecting itself from being disabled. It does not publish any data or otherwise process the gained data except for searching for active instances of itself.
