Pakhtun Wardrobe aims in promoting the culture of Pakhtun.

Pakhtun Wardrobe is an initiative of youth from Swat hit by militancy and natural disasters since many years. The initiative aims in promoting the tangible and non-tangible culture of Pakhtun region thereby promoting people to people interactions for a better future and mutual cooperation.

With its head office in Swat Pakhtun Wardrobe deals in traditional and creative artifacts of North – West of Pakistan. Pakhtun Wardrobe striving to develop a network of artisans and potential buyers of the traditional products produced by the artisans since long.

Pakhtun built was under grip of militancy for many years that resulted in vanishing of livelihood and assets of the local craftsmen and women. The rehabilitation of small and medium enterprise in the crisis hit area of Swat did not attracted the attention of agencies providing assistance to the skilled persons. This act compelled the local craftsmen to adopt other occupation to earn their livelihood. On the other hand it has been observed that cultural products of Swat and other adjacent areas have great potential in national and international market.

The local craftsmen are unable to collect information about the potential market and to be connected with national and international buyers due to low literacy rate among the artisans. A group of committed youth plan to establish online system for marketing and promotion of the local cultural products and connect the grass root artisans with national and international market.
