The Story

I remember, many years ago, I wanted to keep pets as companions but could never do so, with the objections of my parents. This however, didn't stop me from saving some food on the dinner table and feeding it to the strays.

It was pouring heavily one day and the drains were filled with gushing water, on my way to the bus stop, I heard a yelping sound and found a mongrel puppy drowning in the drain. Without much thought, I got down on all fours and rescued her. She was very weak and was shivering from the cold. I skipped school that very day (sorry mom!) and brought her home, wrapped her up in a towel and nursed it. All this, was of course, pretty well hidden from my mom.

message-from-the-founderOver the next few days, I went to a couple of pet shops to get food and some basic necessities for the puppy, what I came to realized was that they weren't very helpful, and didn't really know much about taking care of puppies either. On my way to the next pet shop, I came across an empty shop for rent, and there I decided, it would became my very first Pet Stop. Starting from a humble shop front of only 120 square feet without any prior experience, I had to ask suppliers for as much information as possible, down to the simplest of details. A lot of my earlier customers had also helped me learn, as I garnered their feedback and comments. In life, most of the time, it's really about getting through trial and error that you really learn.

The Motivation

With my passion for dogs, it fills my heart with warmth to see them finding good homes, and their owners loving them. I can't help every single dog in the world, but every dog that I come across, I would make sure that they end up in good homes to the best of my abilities.

The Method

At Pet Stop, we believe in providing a personal touch. Pet Stop reflects my attitude towards the business, we DO NOT try to hard-sell a product or pet companion just to hit our sales targets. Money is essential to keep the business rolling, but we believe that integrity is way more important. We ensure that when you approach us to purchase a dog, we will matchmake you to the right breed, each and every breed of dogs has different characteristics and habits. We would rather have you getting your dog at another shop than convince to buy a dog that fits your budget but not your lifestyle at Pet Stop. We are always willing to share our knowledge.
