As per statistics found, most of the road accidents are due to "Distracted Driving". If you use PinPout you can anytime know whether your friends or families are driving or not, and you can avoid distracting them. This will really help to prevent most of the unfortunate road accidents.

PinPout application notifies you the instant status of your friends who also has PinPout on their Android device. This will use your 3G/WiFi whenever available.

The Application allows you to tag/untag your friends and family to get their status notifications on your android device. There is no hidden cost. This application is absolutely free.

PinPout can notify below status to your friends:

Idle (Red) - You are not using your cell phone.

Active (Green) - You are using your cell phone.

Driving (Blue) - You are driving.

Sleeping (Orange) - You are sleeping.

Unknown (Black) - Your status is not available.

Idle, Active, Driving and Unknown are auto detected status. Sleeping status is manual, which you need to set in application. If your status is Driving or Sleeping, you will see a notification stating your current status. You can anytime set your status back to Active by clicking on "I am Active Now" button under notification. If you are Driving or Sleeping, you will not be disturbed by PinPout notifications of your friends until you become Active again.

Using PinPout you can:

1. Pin and Pout (Punch-In and Punch-Out): Tag/untag your friends and family to get their status notifications. Pin allows you to get notification when your friends are available on cell phone. Pout allows you to get notification when your friends are not available on cell phone. If you have Punched-In your friends, you will be notified if their status changes to Active, If you have Punched-Out your friends, you will be notified if their status changes to Idle, Driving, Sleeping or Unknown. If you have not Punched-In or Punched-Out your friends, you can any time check their status in application.

2. Turn on/off notifications: If you turn off notifications then you will not get others and other will not get your status update notifications.

3. Turn on/off tone: You can turn on/off default sound of notification for this application.

4. Search contact: You can search your contact from the list.

5. Refresh: You can refresh to get the current status of your contacts.

6. I am Sleeping: You can set your status as Sleeping.
