QR Music Score

App pour la lecture de partitions musicales en utilisant les codes QR.

*Abstract:

This project take origin in another reports previously completed related QR encoding and decoding, in order to store MIDI files into QR codes.

In this way, a choir could make use of this codes for performing sheet music.

The final result is an Android application able to rebuild a completely MIDI file in the smartphone, and reproduce it based on reading a few QR images printed in the score.

*Note:

The MIDI files that we are going to use must be located in the downloads folder.

The App will save the generated files(QR files or MIDI files) in the downloads folder.

*Tutorial:

-To generate QR codes:

First download a score in MIDI format and store it in the downloads folder. There are websites dedicated to it like www.midicoral.com

Then go to the application to the "Create QR codes" button. Enter the name of the midi file and press "Generate".

QR codes are now saved, each track has been saved separately.

Just pass them to your personal computer and print them along with the sheet you are going to play.

Remember to note that codes belong to each track when you are going to print them.

-To Read QR Codes:

Press the "Read QR codes" button and type a new name to save your MIDI file.

Press the Scan button to read codes belonging to the same track one by one.

Each time you read a code you have to press the Scan button again until the track has been completely read.
