RAC Mallorca started in 1985 as a social and cultural alternative for all the young people from 14 to 26 people with risk of social exclusion or drug addiction.
In 1993 the broadcast was refunded, sending out since then 24h a day.
The essence of RAC Mallorca is to offer the possibility to this young people who are not able to afford it, giving them the opportunity to learn how its works and also feeling the passion for the media world. The radio courses have a duration of two moths, where it’s learnt a theoretical with subjects as locution, vowelizing and also practices on air with our radio speakers.
