Our main goal is to broadcast a wide range of lesser heard classic music of all genres from rock to pop to reggae to jazz to musicals and beyond. Having owned and operated a record shop for many years, I developed a love for a wide range of music generally and have been asked on several occasions to compile music compilations for various events over the years so the obvious next step for me was to set up a radio station! Also, having listened to various radio stations I noticed that many of them are a bit lazy, playing the same songs over and over again with little effort to be more selective and varied. On Random FM we are constantly adding to our playlists and guarantee that when you hear a particular song or artist, you will not hear the same song or artist for at least 48 hours. We currently have over 3000 songs on our playlists and growing by the day. At the moment it is a music only station playing 24/7 but we plan to develop it during 2018 with a studio and live shows with DJs planned so watch this space…
