Gilla House (label of fellow New Jersey rapper Redman) recording artist Runt Dawg is a man about the business and representing the Brick City to the fullest. He got his start learning from big brother Gov Mattic and Diezel Don. However Runt didn’t write his first rhyme until incarcerated in Essex County Jail. Since then Runt has been on his grind.

Having worked with artists such as label mate Redman, Rah Digga, Erik Sermon, Young Z, Pace won, Ready Roc & DoItAllDu (to name a few), Runt grows daily as an artist. By his own admission he is inspired by dope music and hopes to someday work with Lil Wayne, E-40, and Kurupt. Runt is a strong voice in the New Jersey hip-hop scene, stating that New York and New Jersey are neck and neck as far as relevance, due to battle rapping. Once you heard his sound for the first time you will see why such a statement is justified.
