This app alternates between displaying the current time of day and the date/day of week, in large and simple bold letters with high-contrast white text against a black background.

There are no confusing abbreviations or clutter, which makes it easier for those who are suffering from cognitive decline (e.g. dementia, Alzheimer's). For example, instead of am/pm it says Good Morning, Good Day, or Good Evening.

I made this app for my mom after trying several commercially available digital wall clocks. She had trouble with the abbreviations and digesting the volume of content on the clock (time, date, day of week, temperature, etc.)

I repurposed an old Nexus 7 tablet which I mounted to the wall and which displays my clock app. She loves it and is now able to easily tell the time.

This is just a version 1.0 which I decided to publish in case anyone else had a similar need. There are no ads and no special permissions required.

Also, please note that this app keeps the display from sleeping, so *you should keep it plugged in* to prevent the battery from draining.
