Smooth 98.1FM launched on November 14, 2009 as the first digital equipped radio station in Lagos, Nigeria. We are a 24-hour, commercial music station offering a mix of soul, jazz, funk, old school and world music.

We provide intelligent and exciting entertainment to a growing audience in Lagos and its environs. We also have followers in over 30 countries all over the world including the U.S., U.K, Canada, Japan, Germany, and Mexico, who listen to us through our digital media channels and other platforms.

We also produce public affairs programming that informs, educates, entertains and inspires. The vision of Smooth 98.1FM is to be the benchmark for commercial radio in Africa by delivering world-class radio excellence on a daily basis.
