À propos de Sound Shaker

Play a sound when your move your phone.

A simple tool to play a sound when you shake your phone. To be more accurate when your accelerometer exceeds the sensitivity threshold that you define in the app a sound you choose from your device will play. It has a button to calibrate for gravity or different positioning of the phone (i.e. in your pocket vs. on the table). Great for adding sound to Halloween costumes :)

This version *requires* ES File Explorer to be installed - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop

THIS APP IS IN BETA - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

I created this app to scratch my own itch to be able to play crazy footstep sounds as I actually walked around (think robot, dinosaur, duck quacks, etc). It seems to work pretty well so far. I also designed it initially in App Inventor as a way to test out that development tool. In the future, I hope to add other features like the ability to trigger multiple sounds at different sensitivity thresholds or for movement along different axis.

INSTRUCTIONS

- Pick a sound file to play

- Set the sensitivity (between 5 - 7 work well for a shake)

- Check whether to restart the sound if triggered before the sound is finished

- Place the phone in the starting orientation

- Press the Calibrate button

- Press Start

When the sensitivity threshold is reached the sound will play
