Sword of the Spirit was personally inspired through my true walk with God when starting to read the Bible very recently. Although I felt myself coming closer to the Lord when reading, I did not want it to stop there. Often times, I wanted to easily save verses that personally meant something special to me as I read a story, parable, teaching, etc. However, I could not find any app that easily did just that. Then, Sword of the Spirit was born! Praise God!

Sword of the Spirit is a Bible companion (not a full Bible app) that encourages taking your reading much further. This app allows you to save your favorite or most meaningful verses and flair them with tags, such as Faith, Forgiveness, Grace, Healing, Hope, Joy, Love, Peace, Strength, and Wisdom. Then, throughout the day, you can read and reflect on the verses that you have saved and continue to fill your heart, mind, and soul with the living Word of God, in ways that are special and personal to YOU! Also, this project was a fantastic way for my girlfriend, "Coley" and I, to bring our relationship closer to God and for His purpose. Therefore, Coley has her own section called Coley's Contributions that offer real, insightful, and applicable discussions, explanations, and advice of her favorite Bible verses as she reads, too! Sword of the Spirit contains many other useful and insightful features, such as:

✞ Sorting/shuffling your saved list

✞ Randomly show a verse from your saved list - who knows, you may need to see it at that moment :)

✞ Filter your saved list by Bible book or assigned flair

✞ Easily share a saved verse with family and friends who may need it, as I have with many already

✞ View saved verses online, where users can use many different Bible translations

✞ Easily search and save any verse in the Bible

✞ Quickly viewed deleted verses in case you forget
