Dong Young-bae was born May 18, 1988, age 28), better known by his stage name Taeyang, is a singer and songwriter from South Korea. After appearing in music videos Jinusean entitled "A-yo", Taeyang began his training under the auspices of YG Entertainment at the age of 12 years along with G-Dragon. After six years of vocal training and dance, he debuted as a member of Korean popular music group, Big Bang.
