The Imp App passively collects geographical data from your device. Your personal data is anonymized, and never shared with anybody without your permission. By downloading the App, by invitation only, you consent to receiving market surveys based on your approximate location. Should you choose to respond on receipt of a survey, your location at the time of response, as estimated by your device, will be included with your answers, solely for the purpose of identifying the geographical factors impacting your answers. No data will be incorporated with the response, unless your consent is given.

This release is designed to provide an enhanced location experience. The App does not repeatedly try to access GPS signals, but instead implements a sophisticated and proprietary geolocation technology. This benefits the user by efficient and accurate delivery of information without impacting normal device operation.

The App works effectively with active Internet and Location Services. On Application startup, you will be prompted to enable these settings if not already enabled. These settings may be disabled after initial setup, however, the Application will not install correctly without these being enabled initially.
