Started in 2017, The Ooty Public School is a part of the Hethaiamman Charitable Trust(HCT)which was founded by a team of eminent scholars with in-depth expertise in the educational sectorand entrepreneurs excelling in various fields all united by the common goal of providing holistic and quality education thereby transforming children into capable,responsible,caring and ethical world citizens. HCT is involved in various charitable activities like conducting eye camps, ear camps, tree plantation drives and several awareness programmes.

The school is a 7 acre campus situated at a scenic spot on the Karamadai-Airport road near Onnipalayampudur. The school is well connected to Sathy road and Mettupalayam road. TOPS is an institution following CBSE curriculum and is recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
