Welcome to this year’s Heritage Celebrations themed on ”Wheels”. With the fine work of our organisers we are certain that the array of events will inspire some great costume ideas to don while you enjoy the programme set to celebrate our heritage.

The events are formed so that they cover all ranges of tastes, ages, abilities and interests,

so there is bound to be something in our our programme that suits you! So come and join in the fun.

We always welcome visitors from across the South Island and beyond. We are proud our town and district and we love to share it with others. If you are a visitor to our district for the heritage celebrations, we are sure you’ll be made most welcome. Take advantage of that hospitality and get out and explore some of the many attractions we have in both around town and throughout the Waitaki District.
