Vimana

You've stumbled upon a Vimana! An ancient device of transportation from before a meteor crashed off the west coast of present day Africa, washing inland, covering a thriving civilization with the sand we currently call the Sahara.

This Vimana is powered by Uranium. Using nuclear fuel to generate steam a turbine is rotated at incredible velocities to an intermediate array of capacitors before ionizing a gyroscopic styled mess of ring shaped piping full of liquid Mercury. This ionized liquid Mercury rotates so quickly around these rings the liquid metal generates it's own stable center of adjustable inertia at a scale greater than that of the Earths gravitational pull. Through this nuclear powered conversion, what you'd call antigravity is born.

Though this technology has been long lost since a meteor caused the Sahara flood, remnants of this technology still exists. The Giza plateau in Egypt houses 3 of the oldest nuclear reactors known to our current cycle of civilization.

You've managed to stumble upon a functional Vimana during an archaeological dig in present day Iraq and before the local authorities and historians managed to stop you and hide the Vimana craft, never to be seen again, you gathered the courage to fire the reactor up and in quick succession learn to alter the ionized Mercury gyroscope for stable velocity alterations.

Once you managed to get the Vimana into the air there was nothing the authorities could do to stop you. You've flown the craft half way around the world to America and you must now find a spot to land the craft before planning your trip around the local cosmos.
