Résumés d'essais cliniques marquants en médecine

The application format of Visualmed lets you access all the clinical trials in medicine as visual abstracts and graphics on the go. New trials are being added on daily basis averaging 4-5 news trials weekly. The app covers all medical specialties including general medicine, cardiology, neurology with a special focus on stroke trials, hematology, oncology, radiology, psychiatry, surgery, and many other fields.

App is updated automatically.

There are no recurring payments. It's a one-time purchase with lifetime full access of all features.

The app will be extremely useful for medical students, resident physicians, and doctors who are looking for a quick summary of any randomized trial in medicine and its subspecialties such as cardiology, nephrology, critical care. Additionally, new categories are being added on daily basis including emergency medicine clinical trials.

VisualMed stemmed from a simple concept: medical providers need an efficient and reliable way to access and review the scientific literature to help make medical decisions in real time.

While rounding on inpatients, I often heard colleagues mention clinical trials and large-scale studies they had recently read, and we used them to help guide patient care. As busy residents who are always pressed for time during our inpatient rotations, we often read only the abstract and discussion sections of large articles to glean the study’s essential information. Although we may save time, we also risk missing important information.

This frustration led to the concept of VisualMed – a visually appealing representation of the major points of clinical studies that can provide a resource for practitioners with limited time to review scientific articles.

Visual abstracting is a relatively new idea, though multiple journals are now using them to disseminate more knowledge through social media. VisualMed is all about an effective presentation of medical literature in an entertaining form.

Who’s Responsible for Visualmed?

Usama bin Nasir, MD

How do you pick articles?

All clinical trials have an educational element. We try to focus on those which had a profound effect on guidelines and medical therapy. The decision to prioritize an article is based on review articles, expert opinion, and our own experience throughout medicine residency and cardiology fellowship.
