Vo Hong took his pen name, born on 5 May 1921 in Ngan Son village, An Thach commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province. A small school in Ngan Son, Tuy An school, Song Cau school, then Qui Nhon school. In 1940, he graduated from Bac Ha University. Under the government of Tran Trong Kim, he was the secretary general of 4 central provinces of central Vietnam located in Da Lat. In the resistance war, he and his wife taught at Luong Van Chanh High School (Phu Yen) after he was the principal of this school. In 1953, he became ill for a long stay. In 1954, his family moved to Dalat. From 1956 on living in Nha Trang, teaching at private schools and retiring in 1982. After 1975, in a serious polarizing situation (domestic and foreign), he wanted to continue to maintain his independent pen and avoid any misunderstandings. Vo Hong limited his artistic activities locally. in Khanh Hoa, limiting his pen in the topic of education and childhood, keeping quiet life recluse. During this time, the writer had to hide under two pseudonyms Vo An Thach and Vo Tri Thuy. Up to now, he has produced over eight novels and short stories, over 70 short stories, numerous pen sets, autographs, children's stories, more than 40 articles, research articles, and critiques. His business lives through all times because it is always attached to his homeland, with his rustic Phu Yen people.
