where R you is an application that offers you to locate your family.

You are always nervous of not knowing where your kids, wife or husband are. Seldom do they pick up the phone to calm you down by letting you know where they are.

This application is then for you. Don't be afraid about centralized server that could capture your position. With the where R you application there is no publication of your data on a public server, all is kept confidential between your phone and your contacts.

Install and configure this application on both phones and you will perform automatic location requests.

whereRyou free: a free version is available that is only able to answer location request. In any case it will allow some location requests. You can install this version on your kids phone, it's available here.

NOTA: the phones dialog to each other via SMS (so you are potentially billed for each request or response).

Why SMS? ...because it is the system that do not rely on data connection to a centralized server, it is more robust. Once the phones are configured you can do whatever you want. All SMS are encoded so even if someone listens to your messages he/she won’t be able to access your position.
