WWCI is a concept that founder Walter Wright had been working on for several years after leaving WDME Radio in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. We here at WWCI want to keep our station small, local, community orientated and, most of all diverse in it's music format. We want it to be able to be heard all over the world and yet be able to expand to the FM channel for the 10 mile radius of Plainfield CT. WWCI music format is based on all kinds of music like: POP, ROCK, ADULT CONTEMPORARY, CLASSIC ROCK, OLDIES, JAZZ, DISNEY MUSIC, BROADWAY MUSIC, COUNTRY, HOLIDAY MUSIC, ALTERNATIVE, INSTRUMENTAL, AMERICANA, TOP 40, CLASSICAL, FOLK, GOSPEL and so on.
