The Body Mass Index (BMI) relates the weight and height of a person, identifying if their weight is inferior, equal or superior to the recommended weight. This index is valid for adult men and womem from 18 to 65 years.
The World Health Organization defines this index as a criteria to measure the risks associated with obesity id adults.
The BMI for adults is calculated using the following formula: BMI = weight/(height)²
