Who is Kali?
Kali, also known as Kalika, is an aspect or manifestation of the Hindu Mother Goddess, Devi Shakti. Some sects worship Her as the Ultimate Reality, or Brahman. She is seen as a divine protector, destroyer of evil, and bestower of moksha, or liberation. Kali is often portrayed standing or dancing on Her consort, the Hindu God Shiva.
